About US standing on Ahmadinejad's presidency!

I am posting this as I heard many of my friends complaining about the US government's standing on his presidency (posted here: http://www.thenews.com.pk/updates.asp?id=84319)

I am not disappointed like many of you for several reason:

1- We should not forget that 3 American citizens are prisoners of Iran now. So the US has every right to be concerned about their lives; and it is very rational that they do not want to say something that could put those people in danger.

2- Haven't we already heard enough bullshits from Iran's leader about the US being behind our movement? Do we really need more? Do we want more crazy Basijis killing people because they think America is supporting us?

3- Remember the crazy confessions are still going on, there will be more claim about US dollars coming in to the country and George Soros supporting the opposition. It really is not a good time to give them more reasons for bullshitting.

4- They only said he is the elected president (which is not a false claim, he has been elected but NOT fairly). And they did mentioned there would be no congratulating, so give them some credit for it.

And last but not least, suppose that Obama would say "AhmadiNejad is not Iran's president". How would it help us really?

Let's be honest, nobody is able to do anything for us. We are on our own and this is not a bad thing. Iranian people are the real power of this movement and they are the one who is making it happen not UN or US and European governments.

When we reach a democratic country, it would be just us and there will be no need to grant others for their support.

Aram :-)

  1. I don't know.... maybe you're right
But politically boycoting Iran will give us more time to enforce our movement, don't you think?

He has said: "He's been inaugurated. That's a fact. Whether any election was fair, obviously the Iranian people still have questions about that, and we'll let them decide about that."
